To use Fertile Focus, simply place a drop of saliva from under your tongue on the lens. My saliva seemed to show almost nothing, just a couple little spots while I was ovulating (confirmed by urine stick tests). Then I cleaned off the lens and looked through again and it looked exactly the same. So there were lots of little imperfections on the lens that had nothing to do with my saliva. A waste of $30.
A word to the wise for those wanting to make sure they hit their fertile time but find the ovulation tests annoying…my OB said that if you just have sex every other day from day 11-20 you cover the whole window and don’t have to stress. Stress decreases progesterone and that diminishes your chances of conceiving.

i got this with in 2 days,fast shipping.i was trying to conceive for 10 months. i was very excited to get this product because i have p.c.o.s for 8 years so i think it helps me without losing more money for stripes.when i got it,i put saliva back side of the top lens,but i can’t see anything. i felt very sad.i watch the video on You tube,then i realize i did wrong.after that i tried on back side of the bottom lens .now IT WORKS…now i ‘m waiting for that great day and i will update later….i hope i will get a chance to put 5 star!!!!!!

Okay so I have been trying for 5 years. Unexplained issues:(
My main problem was that I could never detect ovulation! I am irregular so it makes it extremely diffucult to take ovulation kits every day to determine when I ovulate as It was hard to pinpoint. This test is 100% perfect! For the first 2 months I took it every day and also temped. After 3 mths I was finally able to find the time when i would ovulate. I would get a postivie result on my FERTILE FOCUS and then take an OPK. It saves me $100’s of dollars on OPKS every month! I now by a pkg of 7 (or recently I bought OPKs on here in bulk) and when I get a positive FERN result on my scope, I just take an OPK and it’s always 100% accurate! So I only need 1-3 tests a month instead of taking one everyday! This was just amazing! It’a also a great back up if you get a positive OPK or unsure of the results. Just make sure you wait until it dries and your results are so clear! My husband started reading them for me and was amazed at the difference in the signs. Transitional is easy to see and the fern pattern is very distinctive. BEST MONEY SPENT!!!!! I have ovulated on time for the last 2 mths..and baby dancing away:)

I bought it two weeks ago and have been testing everyday morning before I get up,nothing changes till this morning,it looks like today is the day i have been waiting…but toward the afternoon,i start having period…lol…
I don’t know what I did wrong,but I didn’t according to the instruction…

The first couple of months, wasn’t getting any results. Then I watched a helpful You-Tube video, and realised I was applying the saliva incorrectly, and also to the wrong side of the lens! Guess I didn’t the instructions very carefully. Works great now, but it takes a few cycles to determine the difference between a partial and full ferning. Also it is a helpful addition to temperature monitoring and opk’s

After few years of trying to get pregnant, my friend told me about this test. I bought it and after a bit over than 1 month I got pregnant!!!!!!! I used it every morning and during the day JUST HOW IT SAID. When I first got it I tried it and there were JUST ferns ( I WAS NOT OVULATING)!!! The next day there was hardly any and then on after. THEN when I WAS OVULATING (I could feel it and also was doing an ovulation kit and it was positive) there was NOTHING!!!

Well, I can’t beam about being pregnant just yet, I only got the Fertile-Focus last month…and just 3 days after I placed my order I might add! Super quick shipping! I am certainly more apt to use (and am using) this ovulation testing device much more consistently than the pee sticks! It is so easy to use and fairly easy to read once you get used to it. I think you have to see the three different phases before your comfortable with your assessment of the results. It is exactly the size of a lipstick case making it easy to take anywhere and there is no mess like with the pee sticks! I love it! I have already recommended it to several friends and when I can beam about how I used it to get pregnant I’m sure you’ll have some new customers! A tip for none morning people: when I wake to put my dogs out at 6:30 AM I put my drop on the slide and go back to bed while it dries and then just read it when I get up, typically around 8 AM. This works great for me because I don’t have to fuss with it for several minutes and then wait for the results, I can go right back to bed and read it at my leisure ;p)
