To use Fertile Focus, simply place a drop of saliva from under your tongue on the lens. I have been using this for three weeks now, and yes, during the time period that the Fertility Friend website says I should have ovulated. But no matter how much spit I put on the lense, or how much time I let it dry before looking at it, all I could see was what appeared to me to be a pretty sunflower shape. ugh. Not anything like what the pictures show in the directions. I’ll keep trying after AF goes away. Maybe next month I’ll have better luck. Otherwise, I’ll go with this wasn’t worth the money.

This takes a little getting used to how to look for the pattern, but once you get the hang of it, it’s great! I haven’t seen the ferning pattern yet, as I have not yet ovulated since receiving it, but I am sure it will be easy to tell. This is much more affordable than ovulation strips, as this is a one time purchase.

I dislike having to pee on a stick with any regularity and was put off by the cost of disposable OPKs. After doing some searching online, I came across this item and decided to give it a go. I find it very easy to use, and it’s very obvious when an LH surge comes for me because I can see the ferning. I actually purchased this about a year ago and was able to use it to get successfully pregnant twice and very quickly (although I lost both pregnancies–the first one due to a blighted ovum and the second was ectopic). However, I am convinced of the efficacy of this product in predicting ovulation–especially since it worked to get me pregnant twice! I highly recommend this product. Note: you’ll want to let your saliva dry for a long time before checking–perhaps it’s just me, but I have to let my saliva dry for quite a few hours prior to checking. That’s not a function of the microscope, but perhaps just my body chemistry.

I already have two children, and we’d like to have one more. I wanted to try something different for predicting my ovulation day so I tried this. It definitely works. I was able to see the transition (used it for 5 days straight every morning before I went to work) from pre-“ferning” to “ferning”. I also like that it’s small and easy to clean. Now, I have no idea if I’m pregnant yet, but using this tool alongside the other signs (observing changes in CM, etc.) I feel it will assist with getting pregnant….cross fingers! 🙂

I have been trying to conceive for almost a year now. I have a 3yr old daughter and did not have any problems trying to conceive her. It has been frustrating using the LH ovulation strips every month and so expensive! I bought this to try durring my January 2012 cycle. It was very obvious to see my ferning paterns and I ovulated later in my cycle than I thought! I am currently 6 WEEKS PREGNANT and would recomend this product to everyone woman trying to conceive! Get rid of the LH strips!!!

I have saved alot of money already! I love it! My cycle has been messed up for a few months and have taken hpt’s over and over with bfn’s. So at the moment not sure if i should take an hpt or opk. Fertile focus is helping me figure that all out without spending a fortune! Wish i had learned about this product months ago!

I got this becuase I was using the clue blue easy pee strips and wasnt getting a smile face. I was getting frustrated and sick of spending the money. I got this and was a bit unsure of how it was going to work This month I actually got smiley faces for about 36 hours and the next day I got a full fern! We are very excited and hope to have the great news in a few weeks. Would reccommend this to anyone!

I tried for 9 months to get pregnant, and both me and dh thought something was wrong. My cycles are very irregular, and i have horrible periods, so i guess it shouldn’t have been surprising. We were stationed in Japan when i ordered this, it came within a week, which was amazing. I started using it right away. It is a little unsure at first of what you are doing but day 3 of using it I saw a lot of ferrying, and was ecstatic. we conceived our son that night who is now 19mo. I gave mine to a friend who was having problems also.
I am ordering another because we are ttc again and no such luck and i haven’t been on any bc since birth. I guess our timing is just unlucky. I’m in love with this product!
