To use Fertile Focus, simply place a drop of saliva from under your tongue on the lens. It didn’t take me long to figure it out. I actually just started using it a few days ago so I’m not expecting to see any “ferns” just yet. I ordered this because I was tired of buying opks after opks, months after months and years after years of trying for baby #2. We hit our 4 year mark at the beginning of the month and wanted to make a change of something and this was the first change I made. I like that this is small enough to take along with and that I don’t have to use and sticks and this is re-usable.

This product takes a while to get the hang of. I find it difficult to look through the small lens. My eye starts to hurt trying to focus so hard on it! It does give you the results it is supposed to though.

The spot for saliva to go is very small so therefore does not allow you to see a whole lot. I do enjoy the overall small size of the product but wish that the viewing area was bigger or to have multiple surfaces to compare days.

I bought this feeling skeptical about it, but thought I might as well try since we had been unsuccessful for 9 months. I tried it every day for one month to get the hang of what I was looking for, and the very next month got pregnant. I was so excited I bought one for a friend who had been trying for 3 years. My first cycle using the fertile focus I wasnt sure it was going to work..been TTC for 2.5 yrs now, but I started testing as soon as I got it. Not fertile was easy to see just a bunch of dots and lines..was like that for a few days..but then on cd 11..I was excited when i seen some partial ferning and still some dots..it was like that till cd 16 I got a full ferning crystals and it was so pretty..you will definitely know the difference when you see it. Opks are still neg but getting darker. .**fingers crossed** hoping this is our cycle ♥
