OvaBoost Supports Healthy Ovulation and Egg Quality in Healthy Women Who Are Trying To Conceive
OvaBoost is a dietary supplement that contains a combination of vitamins and antioxidants including myo-inositol, folate, melatonin, coenzyme Q10, vitamin E, grapeseed extract and alpha-lipoic acid to support egg health and ovulation.
Tell Me More About OvaBoost
OvaBoost has a unique formulation highlighted by a trio of ingredients – myo-inositol, folic acid (also called folate), and melatonin – that are popular for reproductive health.
In addition, OvaBoost includes Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), which is an antioxidant. But, CoQ10 also plays an important role in energy production within egg cells. Once conception occurs, the amount of cell division that occurs to allow the egg to grown into an embryo and successfully implant into the wall of the uterus requires a tremendous amount of energy. CoQ10 works within the mitochondria (the energy powerhouse of the cell) of the egg cell to help ensure that energy production is optimal.
Finally, OvaBoost contains three additional antioxidant ingredients, Vitamin E, grapeseed extract and alpha lipoic acid, to help ensure your egg cells are adequately protected from the damaging effects of free radicals.
Folate vs Synthetic Folic Acid
Due to the fundamental role that folic acid plays in reproductive health and pregnancy wellness, further explanation about this crucial vitamin is warranted. The words folate and folic acid are often used interchangeably to describe the vitamin known as vitamin B9. Folate is the form of this vitamin that naturally occurs in foods – dark, green leafy vegetables are good sources of naturally occurring folate. Folic acid is the synthetic form of vitamin B9 that is found in fortified foods and most dietary supplements. While the research in this area is still emerging, many experts believe that folic acid is not sufficiently metabolized by some people. To help ensure optimal utilization of the folate in OvaBoost, OvaBoost features methylfolate, a more bioavailable form of folate than synthetic folic acid. Get the best bang for your buck when it comes to supplementing with this important vitamin!
Frequently Asked Questions
How much Myo-Inositol does OvaBoost contain?
OvaBoost provides 2 grams of myo-inositol per daily dosage.
Who should take OvaBoost?
OvaBoost is intended to support egg quality and enhance the process of ovulation in healthy women who are trying to conceive.
How long should I take OvaBoost?
We recommend taking OvaBoost for a minimum of 3 months, or as long as you are actively trying to conceive. OvaBoost can be discontinued once pregnancy has been confirmed.
Are there any known side effects or contraindications?
OvaBoost has no known side effects. However, as with any dietary supplement, if you have a pre-existing medical condition, we recommend that you discuss taking OvaBoost with your doctor. Please consult with your physician before taking OvaBoost if you have been prescribed a medication for depression or anxiety, or if you are taking the herb St. John’s Wort, as large amounts of myo-inositol may have additive effects when taken along with drugs and herbs classified as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI) and selective serotonin norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRI).
Should I take OvaBoost if I already have a regular cycle?
OvaBoost is designed to support hormone balance and cycle regularity, with ingredients like myo-inositol. Women with regular cycles typically don’t experience any changes when taking OvaBoost, and if they do, these adjustments are minor and temporary. If you experience unwanted changes to your menstrual cycle, please discontinue the product.
I notice that OvaBoost contains melatonin. Will this product impact my typical sleep pattern?
Melatonin is a powerful antioxidant compound that has been shown to be helpful for supporting egg quality, especially when given in combination with folic acid and myo-inositol. In addition, melatonin is a frequently recommended natural ingredient for helping to restore normal sleep cycles in people with insomnia. OvaBoost contains a small amount of melatonin, similar to the amount given to trying-to-conceive women in clinical trials looking at the benefits of this natural ingredient for improving egg quality. When taken in the recommended dosage, we do not expect OvaBoost to impact your sleep cycle, or your day time energy levels or alertness. If you experience a change, we do recommend that you take all capsules just before bedtime.

I began taking this and was totally excited but then after a few days I begin to get these really sharp headaches right near my temples and the top of my head. It seemed to get worse the more pills I took so now that bottle is now sitting on my dresser. I really hate that i spent $30 for a product that caused me pain but then you never know how these products will effect each individual and thats the risk you take. Maybe others wont experience what I did but I just thought it best to share my honest experience.

I am 36, TTC second baby. Have an 8 year old and my husband and I are ready to try for another baby. We’ve only been trying for a little over 1 month, but since I’m over 35, I thought I would give my “mature” eggs a boost. I like OvaBoost so far. I’ve only been taking them for about 10 days now so still too early to tell how effective they are, along with FertilAid. Getting close to ovulation day and hoping to get some good news soon. I did notice that I got fairly sleepy after taking the OvaBoost the first week, but nothing abnormal, probably the melatonin or just my body getting used to the new supplements. I take 2 capsules in the morning and 2 at night. No problems. Will update when I get my BFP!

We have been trying to get pregnant for 3-1/2 years and went to several doctors when finally found a doctor that worked with me and my body for 3-1/2 years when I found this website so I printed this among some other stuff to show my doctor the ingredients and this was the first one she said yes to I have a severe case of PCOS abs she said the ingredients that was in here was proven and had a high success right on pregnancy. So I bought it and used it for like 6 months then quit cuz I couldn’t afford it that month and 6 weeks later I found out I was 8 weeks pregnant. I now have a 15month old beautiful and health baby girl and in a couple of months I will be getting more since we want to try for another child.

I was definitely a skeptic at first. Really did not think that this would work, but I am 34 and my husband 40 (we are not getting any younger) and after trying for 2 1/2 years my husband and I were desperate. After only a months worth of taking ova boost consistently we became pregnant, that was last October. We now have a healthy beautiful baby boy he turns 1 month old tomorrow!! Thank you!

I have to say that after using the supplement I did get pregnant (I tried for 1.5 year), and my baby is everything and more I wished for.
