- SUPPORTS OPTIMAL VAGINAL pH with an ADVANCED pH BUFFERING SYSTEM of Lactic Acid, Sodium Lactate, and Sodium Hydroxide – Vaginal Secretions Have Little Buffering Capacity of Their Own, So Small Changes in pH of the Fluids (Think: Semen and Period Blood) in the Vaginal Canal Can Impact Vaginal pH, As Well As the Balance of Bacteria and Yeast in Your Vagina.
- WON’T HARM FRIENDLY LACTOBACILLUS BACTERIA – Having Enough Lactobacillus Bacteria – the Friendly Bacteria – is Important Because It Produces Lactic Acid, Which Helps Keep the Vagina in the Optimal Acidic Range.

Terms to Know When Choosing Feminine Care Products
pH – measured on a scale from 0-14 with 0 being most acidic and 14 being most basic. While some pH fluctuation is natural and necessary as the vagina comes into contact with fluids such as blood and semen, too low a pH in the vagina (<3.5) can actually turn off lactobacillus production (good bacteria) required to keep the vagina in a balanced state, or over time even lead to a chronic infection (vaginosis).. The WHO has stated that vaginal products approaching pH 3 should not be used in the vagina.
Isotonic – also referred to as the ion or salt concentration. Isotonic is the measure of whether two solutions have the same concentration of salt. Vaginal balancing gels that are hypo– or hypertonic (with too low or too high of a salt concentration relative to vaginal tissues) will cause water to be pushed into, or sucked out of, the vaginal cells. This forced movement of water changes vaginal cell shape and biology, leading to irritation, tissue damage, cell death, mucus dehydration, and increased risk of bacterial infections or STDs. Isotonic products (like IsoFresh) are perfectly matched to the salt concentration in the body, and as a result, cause no net movement of water.
Toxic Chemicals Used for Viscosity – used for thickness and moisture. Glycerol (glycerin) and propylene glycol, for example, are commonly used humectants that can keep gels moist and improve the consistency. These small, penetrating chemicals can cross the vaginal barrier and be extremely toxic to vaginal cells and friendly vaginal bacteria.
Parabens – parabens are preservatives that can cause irritation, vaginal cell damage and disruption to the balance of vaginal bacteria.

It was easy to use and worked great for me during my “problem times” (after my period and after exercise). Very fresh.
Brittany Brucato –
I was sent this product for free to review. I was excited to try it since it’s all natural. The product smelled like roses to me. I used the minimum amount suggested. I didnt feel any leakage of or negative effects after use. 24 hours after the first application I noticed I had a discharge that came out. It resembled the symptoms of a yeast infection without the burning or itching. The discharge was white and lumpy and I also noticed a not so nice smell to the discharge. The discharge continued all that day. The next day all of it was gone. Maybe that was the product cleaning me out? Who knows. I have not tried the product again after the first use but I’d be willing to try it again.

Hi Brittany,
Thanks for your feedback! To clarify the discharge you experienced, after use of IsoFresh, your healthy vaginal pH returns. This in turn helps get rid of odor as the vaginal lining exfoliates, taking away the higher pH bacteria that were causing odors. This is seen as white tissue clumps that can last about a day. Typically, the more you use IsoFresh the less dramatic this exfoliation is.
Hope this helps to clarify!
