At Fairhaven Health, we’re in the business of creating products to help couples achieve pregnancy. How many mIU/L?
The BFP pregnancy tests are testing at the 20 miu level.
How early can I test?
You can begin testing as early as 7 days past ovulation.
What time of day should I test?
You will want to use your first morning urine to test – as this is your most concentrated sample.
How do I know the test is working?
You can confirm that the test is working accurately if you receive a valid control line. A test without a control line would be an invalid test, and should be discarded.
Is there an expiration date for these tests?
The expiration date is printed on the back of the packet. Generally, the expiration date will be approximately eighteen months from the purchase date.
How many tests do I get per package?
Each test is individually packaged. You will want to update the quantity with the amount of tests that you would like to purchase, i.e. – Quantity 10, would be 10 pregnancy tests.
How is this test different from the test strip format?
The only differences between these tests is how you use them. For the test strip format, you will collect a urine sample and then dip the test into that collected sample. For the midstream format, you will hold the test midstream while urinating. Otherwise, the tests have the same accuracy and sensitivity.
My test line is faint but visible. Is this a positive?
Yes, any test line that is visible to the naked eye (at the testing time frame) is considered to be a positive test result.
My test line became positive after the testing time frame, is that a positive?
A positive test result will not change after the testing time frame. However, a negative test result should not be read after 30 minutes. If you are unclear, we recommend that you retest with the next day’s first morning urine to confirm results.
Is it normal to get a positive with these, but still get negative’s with other pregnancy tests? I’m assuming it’s because these are really sensitive?
Yes, pregnancy tests may have a different sensitivity. You’d want to compare that on each test!
My blood test is positive, but the results on the pregnancy test are negative. Should I be concerned?
Blood test results and urine test results should not be compared. HCG will hit the blood stream earlier than urine and isn’t subject to dilution. As such, a blood test done by your physician is a more accurate test.
I have missed my period, but test result is still negative. What could be happening?
Unfortunately, there are a variety of reasons why your period could be delayed-stress, sickness, etc. If your period does not start within a week, repeat the test. If you still receive a negative result and your period has not started, you may want to follow up with your physician.

I bought 3 of these and they kept coming back inconclusive and I was a week past my period due date. Also, I had to dip them in a cup because they did not work well otherwise. the same day that I got inconclusive on my morning sample from these tests, I took a CVS test that evening and got quick and very clearly positive reading. I do not recommend these tests.

I took a midstream pregnancy test first thing in the morning on the first day of my missed period absolutely positive that I was pregnant as I hadn’t been feeling well… I waited five minutes…only saw the control strip line and thought it was negative. I wrapped the test in a napkin and discarded it into a wastebasket in my bathroom and laid down on my bed. I laid battling the nausea that had plagued me all week long now, trying hard to find a way to get comfortable laying on my stomach which was no longer tolerable due to the extreme sensitivity in my breast, and tried to get some rest, despite the little voice echoing in my head telling me… “the test is wrong…you’re pregnant…”
After about a whopping 5 minutes of listening to that little echoe grow into a monstrous roar…I got up and rushed back to the little wastebasket and tore the napkin off the test like I used to tear the wrapping paper off of my gifts at Christmas and guess what… that voice was right… I was pregnant.
I have used several pregnancy tests before (I had three children prior to this pregnancy) and the positive results always showed up almost immediately. I took another test by a different maker later in the evening and the positive result showed up much more quickly. The best thing I could tell you guys is…this product does work…but just make sure to wait some time before discarding the test… It took my test over five minutes before it showed up positive. Besides that…VERY good product for the price.
Mom and waiting –
I have used these for two months, and have tested earlier and more often than I did with my first five babies, because the tests detect a lower level of hcg, and because the tests are inexpensive enough that testing several times a cycle isn’t prohibitive.

These test are easy to use, and very affordable. They are very effective also, detected our pregnancy when we were only two weeks along! Results show up in less then a minute usually.

Well, unfortunately, I did not get my positive results yet, but this is a great product. It works the same as the very expensive ones you buy at the store. They claim to be able to be used even earlier than the store bought ones as well. I saved a ton of money!! I am sure, like me, a lot of you take pregnancy tests for 5 or more days in a row.

This midstream type pregnancy test works accurately, but i found the construction to be a bit cheap. The test strip inside slid around during use, making the viewing window a bit tricky to center and see clearly. I have since purchased the test strips (I believe these are the save as the one found inside this midstream type test), and they are simple and easy to use, not to mention a better bargain.
