The easy-to-use fertility microscope with 6 reusable slides

The Fertility Tracker is a one-of-a-kind ovulation predictor that is as effortless to use as it is accurate in pinpointing your "fertile time" of the month. As with "traditional" microscopes, the Fertility Tracker is a table-top device that comes with 6 reusable slides for unlimited testing and comparing results.

  • Powerful 100X lens
  • Unlimited Testing
  • Multiple slides for comparing results

The Fertility Tracker works by detecting changes in a woman's estrogen levels. During the early part of your menstrual cycle, estrogen slowly increases in your system and peaks just before you ovulate. These fluctuations in hormone levels are directly reflected in saliva samples, which indicate an increased presence of estrogen through the appearance of "ferning patterns".

When viewed through a microscope, saliva ferning patterns look like crystals or frost on glass. As you approach ovulation, higher levels of estrogen in your system will produce increasingly stronger ferning patterns in dry saliva samples! This makes the ovulation microscope a highly accurate, mess-free solution for predicting when you are fertile. Simply view dried saliva samples to determine when you are most fertile: A sample that displays strong ferning patterns tells you that ovulation is right around the corner!

Best of all, with the Fertility Tracker you can monitor the gradual, daily increase of estrogen in your system and "track" ferning intensity - from "non-fertile" phases where no crystal patterns are present through "transitional" and "peak" fertility stages. Use the six lenses to document and contrast a week's worth of results!

The kit comes with...

  • Fertility Tracker microscope with 100X ocular lens!
  • 44-Page Instructional booklet and User Guide
  • Attractive and discreet carrying case!
  • 2-AA batteries (installed and ready for use)
  • 6 reusable slides for unlimited testing.
Overall Rating for Fertility Tracker Ovulation Microscope
(based on 6 reviews)
Easy to read
By Chrys from NYC on August 19, 2011
I read other reviews where people said the light was too bright and I somewhat agree. However, I tried shining my own light on it and it did not let me see the results clearly. Overall, this is great and is convenient to use. Sometimes it is hard to keep staring into the small eyepiece, especially first thing in the morning. I have been happy with this product.
Pros:
Ease of use
Travel pack
6 interchangeable slides
Removeable slide holder
Cons:
Bright light
Small eyepiece

I would recommend this item to a friend.

product quite good
By Katerina from Greece on April 3, 2011
the light is quite sharp
the packaging is quite unconveinient (you can't find where to put your fingers to hold it and then pack and unpack it)
the magnification is very well
the idea of six rather one slide is smart

Pros:
magnification
Cons:
light

I would recommend this item to a friend.

So Cool!
By Amy from Colonia, NJ on December 27, 2010
I started using the microscope this month, and at the beginning of the month i was really doubtful that i was doing it correctly, but today i saw the "ferning pattern" which signifies being fertile/ovulation! So cool! But as someone else had posted, the light was WAY TOO bright....i did the same thing..i took out the batteries for the light and used my own hand held flashlight to light it up ! works great!
Pros:
It works! (hopefully we will get pregnant this month after using this as a guide for my days of optimum fertility...)
Cons:
The light was Way Too bright...best if you take out the batteries and use your own flashlight....

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Fun and Useful
By Goldilocks from Portland, Oregon on October 28, 2010
"Looking for ferns" puts a little daily fun in the TTC journey. This whole setup is easy to use and better than then lipstick style pocket version I had before, first because the magnification is larger and second because you can save up to six days worth of saliva samples on the slides provided to compare side-by-side. It puts a bit hope and mystery into each day and how can you go wrong with that?
Pros:
Easy to use
Easy to view slides
Lets you compare results for several days
Gives you something concrete to do each day in the TTC pursuit
Cons:
Just like with every ferning lens, can be tricky to collect just the right amount of saliva for viewing - need a balance between too much and too little. Discovering the amount that is just right takes practice.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Love it!
By Mandii from Maryland on October 23, 2010
So far so good, been using this for about a month now and the microscope is very easy to use and I like having 6 slides so I can refer to the previous days slide. The microscope is sturdy, the light is nice and bright and it is easy to focus. The booklet has a very detailed description on how to use it and it comes with free support. I would recommend it!
Pros:
easy to use
free email support
bright light
six slides

I would recommend this item to a friend.

It Works
By Tara Spight from Detroit, MI on October 16, 2010
I used this in conjunction with a Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor. I saw ferning on the days that the monitor told me that my fertility was high and on peak days. My only problem with this microscope is that the light is way too bright and you can't adjust the angle to alleviate the glare. The first time that I used it, I angled a flashlight at the slide so that I didn't go blind. The packaging and instruction booklet could be updated - they appear to have been printed in the early 80s - but that doesn't effect the microscope's functioning.
Pros:
easy to use
serves its purpose
Cons:
light is too bright
