Progesterone for pregnancy
March 25, 2014
I have been using this progesterone cream since I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks. I have had miscarriages and I am over 40. As we women age, our progesterone gets lower, and that is what helps support the embryo during the first trimester. I am now 8 weeks and actually don't even have much mornings sickness like I did with my other pregnancies. Maybe it helps with that too? So far so good! I will continue using it throughout my pregnancy. I LOVE that its natural and does NOT have a bunch of other herbs in there. I wouldn't be able to use it while pregnant, if it did! Thanks and good luck ladies : )
Pros:
It does not have a bunch of herbs in it. It is safe to use during pregnancy!

Wonderful Product !
February 10, 2014
Trying for baby #2 for 4 months now and dealing with the frustrations of PCOS. This product definitely helped me so far. I used to spot a week before getting my period and using this cream, that has subsided for now. Hoping this helps me get pregnant with #2 ! Will update review and give it 5 stars if it helps me conceive !
Pros:
Easy to use. Smells great. No side effects.
Cons:
Small amount for alot of $

Small Bottle
May 10, 2013
I used this cream for the second time this month. I have no issues getting pregnant, but keep having miscarriages. I know I have low progesterone, and the doctors just arent listening to me about it. Every pregnancy we lost around the time of my next expected period. I used this last month, for the first time with a pregnancy, and we made it to 5 weeks 2 days before having a miscarriage. Its not much longer, but its about a week longer than ever before. I do believe the cream worked a little, but not enough to sustain anything. I finally got my doctor to check my progesterone and they are finally putting me on a prescription progesterone. I dont like that the bottle doesnt tell you how much progesterone is in it. If I continue using creams, I will switch to a cream that lists how much progesterone is in the bottle, and not have to guess.
Pros:
smells nice
Cons:
small bottle for the price no progesterone amount listed

Love Fertile Balance!!!
July 26, 2012
Started using on CD 10 not sure if I should have, but it says use after you ovulated. But I love the scent, it's not strong and once you rub it in it makes your skin nice and soft, used it on my breast and my partner did not taste the cream. I used it and felt a difference right away! I have low progesterone so I started mine early not sure if I should but I figure it wouldn't hurt. Using twice a day.
Pros:
scent and how soft it makes my skin feel
Cons:
not enough directions of how to take and the level of progesterone in cream. wish it came in a larger tube.

Estrogen dominance/ perimenopause
July 17, 2012
Been using this cream for three cycles now but had bought it 10 months earlier. The first time I used it I had very interesting effects that I stopped it till this year. I came to learn that this is normal as the progesterone goes to work to re- balance the estrogen dominance you will feel more of the bad effects of estrogen in the beginning. These could be bloating, more foggy thinking, heavier period some cycles ( usually better though). I have suffered estrogen dominance due to adrenal fatigue ( self - diagnosed since most doctors will not even consider this, most have not even heard of adrenal fatigue or ways to alleviate it ), heavy bleeding leading to anemia, insomnia etc. Peri-menopause/ adrenal fatique symptoms are very similar to extreme anemia symptoms ( foggy thinking, fatigue, even flashing on the face etc). After being on iron pills for two years with only slight improvement on my blood count ( of course the heavy bleeding was still going on) I figured something else was wrong and began to do a lot of research. A friend who had had a similar problem introduced me to Utrogestan ( progesterone pills by mouth or vaginal usually to help with implantation but which can also be used to reduce heavy bleeding by improving the level of progesterone). Doctors had refused to test my hormonal profile since I was bleeding regularly but heavy. I was reluctant to play with something hormonal, but since the bleeding was getting worse and the foggy thinking was not improving much with the rising blood count figured I had nothing to lose besides my cycles were getting shorter meaning it was clear. I noticed an improvement right away the first month I used the pills internal( CD 14-26) , better sleep, more energy, improved thinking/ attention. I skipped them the next cycle and regretted, because I went through the worst heavy period ever( should have continued as I had woken up the receptors and now there was nothing). I went back on the last packet and noticed even more improvement, and was doing more research meanwhile. Unable to buy the pills over the counter in Canada, I remembered this cream and went back on it. I carried out more research and found that it contains 20 mg of USP grade progesterone and that topical application of progesterone was even better than oral or other application and much easier. My improvements have been; more energy, less foggy thinking, improved sleep, less heavy periods less clots. I know I am not out of the woods yet, but I am confident this has made a difference in my life and will continue to do so. It is the best medical decision I ever made on my own and planning to ask my doctor why she never considered this option! I plan to keep using it with other herbal support I am on now. By the way this will work for those who have adrenal fatigue only meaning that even men can benefit from it.
Pros:
Absorbs easily, alleviated my symptoms, nice scent,
Cons:
Wish it was easier to measure, kind a hard to figure out 1/4 tsp accurately. A pump would do.

Awaiting Results....
June 19, 2012
I started using this product on CD 13, ovulated (according to my OPK's) on CD 15 or 16. Tried both days. Now 8DPO, nauseas, queazy and tired. The cream smells nice and is not too heavy or greasy. If it did not work this month, I will definitely use it again. I will update more at the end of my cycle, hopefully with good news.
Pros:
-Low priced -Smells nice -Ovulated on time
Cons:
I can't think of anything except that I did break out, but I think that could be from the hormones. If that is the worst that happens, I will take it!

Eh...
June 13, 2012
I don't know what this product did or didn't do for me. It smelled good though. Didn't get a BFP. Don't plan on buying this again. It is too pricey for such a small amount. Especially when I didn't notice it helping me.
Pros:
It smells good and is easily absorbed
Cons:
Didn't notice any changes and didn't get my BFP :( Also, I had to use a measuring spoon from my kitchen to get the application amount right. I also didn't know how often I was supposed to apply the 1/4 tsp, so I just did it daily.

I took it this month and it worked - got a BFP
February 13, 2012
I started taking this product this cycle after I ovulated (day after confirmed temp rise). I also used Pre-Seed and Instead cups. I'm also on Femara to aid with egg production as I'm age 40. Lo and behold, I took a pregnancy test on 11 DPO and I got a faint positive line! I'm continuing to use the cream until I can get in with the my doctor to talk about whether I should continue with progesterone or not. This was my first cycle using this product. We've been trying for almost a year and a half.
Cons:
I wish there was an easy way to dispense the correct amount of cream.

BEST PRODUCT!
November 4, 2011
This is the BEST progesterone cream that I have come across. I used it 1.4tsp twice a day for 10 days (like provera) instead of 14 and exactly 4 days after I stopped using it AF came on full force! I tried this cream because I wanted something natural to bring on my cycle instead of using synthetic progesterone pills and IT WORKED beautifully! I am now about to start my first medicated cycle with Femara/Ovidrel/TI. I will order more of this to continue to use just to help keep my cycle regulated. I have PCOS and usually go about 3-4 months between periods. LOVE FERTILEBALANCE!
Pros:
Brought on cycle just as good as synthetic progesterone. Easy to apply and absorbs quickly.
Cons:
Very small bottle for the price, wish there was more.

Easy to use
October 23, 2011
This product is easy to use and has a nice scent. Other reviews indicated that the smell turned them off, but it did not bother me at all. Wish there were more directions with it such as how often to use it (once or twice daily)
Pros:
Priced right Easy use
Cons:
More directions

I hv low Progesterone so I hv been using this for 2 months. My cycles hv gone from 24 days to 28, which is good so my egg has time to implant! It does make u feel preggers but I might as well get used to that feeling lol. Don't know if this has anything to do with the cream or not, but I do hv a lot of random energy....bonus maybe? I'm going to the fertility Dr. on Monday so still need more help but I will hv more blood work and will know for sure if my Progesterone level is up!!!!!!!!Baby Dust to all! Oh yeah ttc for 8 months.......
Pros:
longer cycles for implantation

Got pregnant first month using it!
August 2, 2011
I started using this cream 2DPO, I used 1/8 tsp. every 12 hours. I got pregnant the very first month using this cream! I plan to use it atleast until my 1st trimester is over. The only thing I didnt like about this cream was the smell of it, but that is personal preference and the smell goes away quickly. It sort of smelled like saliva to me for some reason!
Pros:
Worked the first month trying it!
Cons:
The smell of it.

Really helped
August 1, 2011
I have PCOS and this is the first progesterone cream I have ever tried. I used a little bit of it in the morning and at night after ovulation. I usually spot alot between periods, but since I've been using this I don't spot until the day I actually start my period. My periods are shorter too. Now they are about 5 days instead of 2 weeks long. And my cycles are evened out completely to exactly 31 days. Before, I could never tell when they would happen. The only thing I do not like about it is the smell. It's not a strong smell, but it's a weird smell and I'm very sensitive to it. But it's worth dealing with.
Pros:
regulates my cycle keeps me from spotting easy to use
Cons:
has a weird smell

Seems like a good product
July 7, 2011
After a few months of charting my temps & finding that they go all over the place after ovulation I decided to give it a try.I started using it on CD 26 & I made the mistake of using it on the 2nd day of what I thought was a thermal shift but than the next morning my temps were back down so I don't think I ovulated this month & AF came a couple days ago. I recommend that people start using it on the 3rd day of their thermal shift & not to be tempted to do it before then. noticed that I felt a bit better after a couple days of using it. I spotted a few times in the morning & using the cream made it stop by the afternoon
Pros:
Made me feel better & stopped spotting
Cons:
Very vague instructions. Looking progesterone cream up online many sites say to use it 2 times a day up to 1/2 a teaspoon. I also don't like that it doesn't say how much progesterone is in it

pregnant the first month
December 27, 2010
not sure what worked, the timing or the different products I tried, but this cream is great. It does make you "feel pregnant" a little earlier than you might actually be. I think it helped me be a little less stressed out though this month and I'm continuing to use it now that i am pregnant. From the reading I've been doing, and I am an MD, this cream is very safe. Fragrance free, absorbs quickly. I would recommend it to anyone, especially women with "estrogen dominance" syndrome.

Work for me!
July 10, 2010
My husband and I had been trying for 8 months to have our second baby, and month 9 was our last shot (due to career issues) to have a baby before taking some time off. Well, I decided to try the cream, just to see if it helped and I now have a happy, healthy 1 year old boy.
