These are easy to use, affordable and they ship them out FAST! Make sure to not drink a lot of fluids while testing. I have had the best results using first morning urine. I use them religiously and test as much as 3 times a day starting CD10 or 11. I want to know when my LH surge is beginning and ending. Have found through charting that I seem to get a positive OPK the day I am ovulating. Dr says to plan intercourse before ovulation so for me that would be way before these tests come up positive.

First time using OV tests

I started testing 4 days before my surge. The first 2 days there was no sign of the T line at all, then day 3 I saw a slight T line, and a little darker line on day 4 but by day 5 both lines almost matched. By day 6 the T line was fading again. So now I know that my surge is most likely going to be 10 day after the first day of my period (I have 24 day avg. cycles). Overall I think the tests work just fine but this next time around I'm going to know how to time our BD better. I think we should have started the BD a few days earlier for a stronger possibility.
Pros:They work and the price is right. I ordered 50 tests for $30 and for my testing method that will last me 5 cycles. (And I did receive my direction sheet)
Cons:The T live never got equally as dark or darker than the C line as indicated in the directions.

Because I have PCOS, I have extremely irregular cycles and a very short LH surge. I have fertile CM for about 2 weeks, so I need to test at least twice a day for about 2 weeks so I don't miss my window! These super cheap tests make that totally possible! I have found these no-frills tests reliable and accurate. They are a bit more difficult to interpret than the fancy digital ones, but overall these are the only OPKs I will use (or can afford!).

I didn't use any other ovulation kits as I found them to be way too expensive. But when I learned about these, I had to try them. They were easy to use and coupled with temping, they turned out to be pretty accurate! They helped us tremendously as we were able to pin point when I ovulated and we are now expecting our first child! Highly recommend!

I got the ovulation tests and good thing they are cheap because it never gave me a positive. A faint line showed up twice, but never got a positive. I took the pregnancy test that were free with the ovulation tests... and it had a negative on the day my period was suppose to come. I took a Clearblue pregnancy test and it was positive. Went to the doctor and it was positive... so, I won't be buying this product again.

TWINS! On the first month we used an ovulation strip.

We used the ovulation strip to find out the window of time it would be best to conceive and we were blessed to have twins on the first try. I used 3 strips over 5 days and was able to see which days were ovulation days. The fraternal twins were what I brought to the table by just happening to ovulate 2 eggs, but knowing when to conceive was made much easier with the use of these strips. I recommend them both for trying to conceive and for family planning.

I ordered 20 ovulation test strips and I also bought the digital ovulation test at Wal-Mart that show a O or a Happy face .I didn’t want to miss the change of missing my surge and I thought buying both would be great incase the test strips were hard to read. I spent over $45.00 and to be honest the ovulation test strips worked great. It’s very clear if its positive or Neg. They were not hard to read at all. So I am starting my second round of Clomid and pray this month by using all the ovulation test strips and early pregnancy strips I’ll get my positive!!! GOOD LUCK ..

Started testing on cd10 and finally got a positive today on cd24! Last month was my first cycle off bc in 3 years and last and this month my cycle was/is looking like 38 days. I had a few test strips that were darker early on and a bunch that were light/non existent and was curious as time went on if I had misread one of the darker ones but there is no mistaking once you get a positive one! My husband and I decided to give the ovulation test strips a try for baby #2.I followed the instructions
As directed and after two negative strips i finally got a positive one.
We did the baby dance everyday we got a positive strip and adter only trting one month I am now
6 weeks pregnant!!! I am so glad we used the strips it was almost too easy!!!

Because these tests detect an LH surge, it's quite likely you will get 2 lines every time you test. Though the instructions claim the 2nd line has to be equal to or darker than the first line, I find the results very difficult to interpret when the 2nd line is kind of dark-ish. Sure, there are times when I can tell right away it's negative, but there are those few times when I can't tell if my line is equal in color to the 1st line. I've taken 3 weeks worth of tests and I'm not even sure any of them were truly positive, so I'm afraid to stop testing. Last month when using these, I got a very noticeable positive which was in fact positive, but this time around, the lines range from light to darker, and it's very confusing. Also, unlike preg tests which state not to read after the testing time, the instructions for the ovulation tests do not state that, so I'm wondering if you see a seemingly positive test after the testing time, if that positive would be considered valid, because that's what happened to me this month. The next day the test looked positive, and none of my other tests got darker over time, so I'm confused to say the least...

My husband I have been trying for baby #3 for 6 months now. My first two pregnancies I did not have trouble getting pregnant. I have been off of the birth control pill for 8 months now. I got the Conception Kit, well the largest one. I recevied them in mail today, I took one at 3.pm as soon as I got them. Which was postitve!! Also I took one at 8 p.m. which was SUPER positive. So keeping my fingers crossed.

I had purchased the expensive OPK from the drugstore and always had a hard time telling if the line was dark enough or not. I purchased these and after only 3 months of using them was pregnant!
The price makes it easy to test a lot more than with the expensive ones. By doing so, I was finally able to determine that I actually ovulate 7 days LATER than most people...hence trying over a year to get pregnant - but only 3 months after using these!
I found it easiest to use at home and use a cup to test.

I believe the test strips I received were defective. I followed the directions and used before, during and after my projected ovulation period. I took the tests at the same time everyday (12:30pm) and each test came back negative.

I decided to give these a try this cycle since store bought opks are so much $. I would always get a line on these but never positive. I felt all my signs of ovulation ( luckily or I would have missed it using these ) and decided to use these and same line came up (not positive) so I ran to the store and bought some cbd opks and what do ya know, there was my smiley! These never got dark to where test line was same or darker then control line. I wont recommend them to anyone! My ovulation was proven also by my temps. I just cant belive I wasted my money on these crappy opks!

My only issue is that it's not discreet meaning you need a cup to take the test and since you have to take it between 12-7, it's tough to do at work. I will be ordering the in-stream test the next time around; just easier for me. But overall, it's good. Hoewever, I haven't had a positive ovutation test yet, but I am irregular so it's to be expected.

These tests were a huge help in getting pregnant. I combined these with using the bbt thermometer that I purchased on this site also for charting my temps. Between the two I got a very good sense of when I ovulated and "acted accordingly" :). The lines are kind of faint, but clearly there.

Love these! Great price, easy to use and very accurate!! Advice: You will have no doubt when you actually receive a positive. If you have doubt then it is probably not a positive result. I questioned my results but then when I got a positive if was more than apparent. The test line will be just as dark if not darker than the control line.

I tested too late the first month I tried the tests and never got positive result. I never got another line. I thought something was wrong with me and I didn't ovulate. Tested again the next month and still never got a positive, just lines that were usually much lighter than the control line. Decided to test earlier this month and I think I have a positive! Hopefully, the next test I take will be a positive pregnancy test. Praying and crossing fingers!

I came on this site and with the reviews decided to go ahead and buy the strip. And its great. easy to use and well worth the money I paid for it. The entire experience from shipping to use has been hasslefree, quick and easy to use. Would definetely recommend buying the ovulation test from here rather than in store.

Very easy to use, with or without a cup... but, either I actually ovulate every single day, or the test strips are not accurate (my guess is the latter). Literally, every time I use one it has two lines -- for a positive ovulation.
Very confusing to say the least.

First off, I got the package earlier then expected. Thank you very much!
Second, it's a very easy to use test strip. works quick and is very sensitive.
Pros:I tested myself a few times. The first one or two tests that I did came back totally negative. Then I saw it starting to become positive, I saw the test line darkening each day I tested. Then on the 13th day from when I started bleeding it was positive and the next day was very clear that it's negative again. Was very easy for me to know when I was ovulating and to prepare for that accordingly.
Cons:One thing I just want to say, when it was positive the test line (which was as dark or maybe even a bit darker the the control line) was a little "cracked", there were some empty spots on the side and one of the "outside lines" of the line was a bit fated, which almost fooled me to think it was negative but then I focused on the coloring and i saw it's positive.
Besides for that I was really happy with this.

This product never showed my surge. I knew I should have been close to ovulating, so I bought a different ovulation product from the store and compared my results using the same sample. The store bought strips showed my surge and these never did. I even went and reread the instructions to make sure I was using them correctly. I definitely wasted my money on this.

My husband an I were TTC baby number 2 for over a year after a misscarrage. We did things the old fashion way thinking that it would just happen like the first one. After a year I wanted to try ovulation test but didn't want to pay 43 dollars for 7 tests. These tests work wonders. Just as good as the store tests but without breaking the bank. First month of trying these, we conceived right away!! Super happy with this product and would recommend to anyone

Well,.. the actual test line never really gets that dark, and I do ovulate every month. Just wanted to tlet you all know that if any part of the test line is darker than the control line, then its a positive. I think a lot of times women think the whole line needs to be darker, but that is not true,. at least not with these tests. other than that, I think they work good. The positive results normally happen for me a day or so after fertile cervical mucus. So that means that they are right on track. Baby dust to you all.

Bought these after going off birth control to pinpoint ovulation - my cycles are long and irregular and i work shift work so temping is not an option. these work great! they have always predicted ovulation, either followed up by a positive home pregnancy test 14 days later or a period! they are inexpensive so you can easily test twice a day to ensure you dont miss the LH surge. when I get my positive it is super clear, the test line becomes super dark and it is obvious it is a positive test. I have recommened these to lots of women and will continue to use them.

I have been using the First Response brand OPK for the last two months. With those I have gotten positive results on day 13 and 14, correlating with BBT and EWCM. This month, I am using these test strips because I have heard about how good they are and their low cost. I followed the instructions to a T. Today is day 17 and still not positive! I started to experience EWCM yesterday and a drop on BBT a few days ago, so I am surprised that I still have not seen a positive. I even started using two strips a day just to make sure I don't miss the surge. I don't know what's going on here. I have pretty regular cycles and conceived my daughter without any problems between cd 14 and 18 (I think). Maybe the other brand was picking up my LH too early??? i will continue to use them this month, but if nothing happens I may just buy the Clearblue digi monitor from this site next month. I am 35 yo... No time to waste!
Pros:Very inexpensive, easy to use.
Cons:I don't think they work for me! But, hey, for $25 it's worth a shot. I have recommended my sister to try because they are inexpensive and it seems like they work for most people.

I was worried when I got these test strips that I wouldn't be able to read them. I received them in the mail today and figured I'd try one out just to get the hang of it. I just finished with AF and didn't think I'd get any kind of reading, however a very faint test line appeared. I've had a very regular AF since I started and didn't think anything about my ovulation schedule, but this made me question whether I know when I do or not! This is my husband and my first time TTC and we're hoping with these little tests, we'll have our BFP in no time!

Sure enough, these little strips work! My wife and I started using them a few days before she should start ovulating them. There was no test line, no test line, no test line, and then BAM! there it was! Even better, the lines started appearing at the time we expected - approximately 14 days before here cycle should end. Be sure not to drink a couple hours before testing, so the urine is concentrated enough to give a nice band. This product is going to allow us to zero-in on her ovulation window, which will give us the opportunity to effectively try for life...when we're ready! Using the strips has been a team effort and fun for us! Thanks.

I just received my second order of these. I used them to help us get pregnant with my first child. They work great! The line gets really dark, so there is no question if it is positive. The price is great too. I could buy a large quantity of them for way less than you would buy them for in the store! Which means that I can test as often as I want!!! This was a huge selling point for me! Hence is why I'm buying them again to help us get pregnant with baby number 2!!!

I bought 15 strips just to try out. So many of the reviews I read said how easy they are to use. They really are. The strips come with instructions of when to start using them and how to use them. I got these in the nick of time. I took 2 tests and on the 3rd I got the 2nd dark strip and conceived! I am 9 weeks pregnant! So excited so far so good! Highly recommend!

I like that these strips are easy to use, small enough that I can store lots of them in my bathroom cabinet, inexpensive so I can test several times in a month. and of course accurate. I have been using these for 10 months and each month I get a positive 24 hours before I ovulate as confirmed by a temp rise and by my ovacue. These sticks dont get you pregnant, but they do tell you when to try!

I used the ovulation strips when ttc both my children. They were very easy to use and the results are easy to read. It took two months to get pregnant with my 1st and with my 2nd we got it on the first try! So needless to say they work. I don't recommend these strips. I used them twice a day during my most fertile week of my cycle. (CD 9-16) On CD 12-14 I also used the clear blue easy digital. I never once got a positive using the ovulation strips. I DID get a positive with my CB digital. Twice! And, I even used the same urine for one of the tests! I definitely would not buy these again. Other tests maybe more expensive, but I'd prefer to spend my money on something that is accurate. (BTW, ovulation was confirmed by BBT)

It’s a question we hear from customers all the time: what’s the difference between ovulation test strips and ovulation midstream tests?
First, let’s look at the similarities: both styles of test measure urine levels of luteinizing hormone (LH) to determine when ovulation will occur. They’re equally sensitive at 25 miu/ml LH, and they’re equally accurate at 99.9%.
The difference in the two formats lies in the way the tests are used. With a test strip, you dip the test in a collected sample of urine; with a midstream test, the test stick is held right in the urine stream.
In short, it really boils down to a matter of personal preference. Both test types have a dedicated following, though we do sell more of the test strip format than we do midstream tests.
