If a woman experiences infertility symptoms, it may be a sign of a low ovarian egg supply or low egg quality - and this is indicated by higher levels of FSH. With some infertility issues, the FSH hormone is released in higher-than-normal amounts to stimulate the ovaries into producing a mature egg and increased estrogen. Our FSH infertility tests are capable of detecting high FSH levels that may be associated with fertility issues.

To use the FSH test strips, simply fill a container with urine (a Dixie cup works fine). Then just dip the tip of the test strip for a few seconds. Your results appear in 10 to 20 minutes. Complete instructions ship with every order and can also be viewed online.

Begin testing on cycle day 3 and continue testing on days 4 and 5.

Used 4 days in a row. Positive day 1 & 3, negative day 2, couldn't tell on day 4 because the control line was hardly visible.

I used the FSH Tests and they showed that I am within normal range .Good price. The reason I bought these tests is because the FSH Blood tests my Dr ordered showed my levels around 75 . So I am not sure how accurate these tests are if you compare them to the Blood tests I had done...

I was on BC for 13 years and only started TTC last month, so I wanted to see if I had any underlying issues that might keep me from getting pregnant. I figured FSH tests were a good place to start. I used them as directed and was pleased with the results. That doesn't necessarily mean it'll be smooth sailing for me, since FSH is only one of several hormones at play in the reproductive game, and levels lower than this test detects can still indicate a problem. However, I'm happy all three of mine came out negative. They're inexpensive, easy to use, and easy to read, as are all the tests I've bought here. One thing I'd note: be sure you buy at least three. You're supposed to test on cycle days 3, 4, and 5 for the most accurate results.

Disappointment

I was having a lot of the symptoms of Peri-menopause which would seem weird seeing that I am only 22 years old, but I wanted to be "infertile" so I wouldn't have to focus on birth control so much. We don't want to have our own children. However, my result came out negative. So I was sad.

Said I had no FSH level- yet I got tested and my FSH levels are high.

The test strips work as they intend for FSH levels 25 and over (perimenopausal - menopausal). A normal level is typically anything less than 9; however, make sure that you consult your doctor for test result clarity and confirmation via blood test. There are many theories (Western / Eastern Medicine) about FSH levels and infertility. Depending upon your age, menstral cyle regularity, and many other factors the FSH number can mean different things. Research the topic and know that this 1 hormone test is not the end all be all. It is an indicator.

Cons:
It does not test for lower levels before perimenopause to indicate a high level such as 10-15 and 15-20.

I'm supposably still fertile per these strips, yet have not become pregnant yet. These are ok if u need a brief pick me up feeling, but Im still wondering if Im fertile or not.
