 Great product By Lora from Oregon on December 21, 2011 My husband and I had been ttc for over a year. We went to the doc who ordered work ups for both of us. Everything on my side of things was normal. My husband however had low sperm count and motility. My OB referred us to a fertility specialist 75 miles north of where we live. I did a little research on my own and found different causes of low sperm count/motility. We decided that since we both have another 10 healthy, child bearing years ahead of us there was no need to rush off to a specialist just yet. We made a few small lifestyle adjustments (mainly my husband cut out the weekend beers with his buddies). He started taking a multivitamin and we ordered FerilAid for men. He had been taking them for about 3 weeks when my LH surge came. I am EXTREMELY HAPPY to report that I am currently 4 weeks pregnant!!!! He had a semen analyses about 2 months ago, and the results were devastating. Dr suggested a diff. vitamin supplement, but was way too expensive, so we thought we'd give FertilAid a try, in conjunction with motility boost. We just had an IUI a couple of days ago, and Dr. was really surprised how excellent the specimen was. I'm not sure if it was these 2 products that helped, since sperm needs 90 days to totally regenerate, but we were excited none the less. I think it did have something to do with it, since DH's motility was non existent. Two months ago my sperm test show 6 % of good forms (teratozoospermia) and over 55 % rapids and over 60 million of alive forms. A week ago I had another sperm test and today I could pick it up at the lab and the results were way too bad. Everything is terribly wrong: Only 2% of good forms, 25% rapids and less than 15 million of alive forms which means that now I am suffering from oligozoospermia as will as teratozoospermia at its lowest or worse level. Your products have not helped me anything and now I am way worse. I feel bleakly down and disappointed at the dreadful results. I would not recommend your products at all. After 2 years we did a sperm test and found out the count was VERY LOW. We tried the pills and the first month of him taking them, we conceived. Unfortunately, I misscarried with that pregnancy last year. We then decided this year to try again, so we did, and once again, the VERY first month of him taking them, we were expecting. After taking FertilAid for several months, my husband's next SA did show good improvement in both his total count and motility, but still below normal values. We did find out that he had a varicocele and he had surgery to repair it. He continued taking FertilAid everyday . His last SA showed that his overall numbers were all in the normal range. I think a combination of the surgery and taking FertilAid has helped to improve his sperm quality. That is also when we discovered that he had some fertility issues. We had miscarried in July 2009 after trying for 9 months. We discovered that he had major motility and morphology issues. He just had another test done in March 2010 and the only improvement was the count. It went from 15 million to 35 million. Morphology stayed at 2%. Needless to say, that is not good. The doctor believes that the morpholoy issues probably caused the miscarriage and since we don't want to take that chance again we are now at are only option of IVF. I was hoping to avoid that. So if you just have a low sperm count this will work. However, at least for us, it may not help with the other factors.
