Fertility and Cervical Fluid

For women who are trying-to-conceive, the key benefit of Evening Primrose Oil is that it may increase the quality of cervical mucus, making the mucus a more fertile medium for sperm. One of the purposes of cervical mucus during the fertile period before ovulation is to allow sperm to move freely through the cervix. When a woman ovulates, there should be an increase in cervical mucus, as well as a change in mucus texture. Fertile cervical mucus is more "stretchable" and slippery (you will often hear it compared to "egg-white"). The presence of fertile cervical mucus around the time a woman ovulates is key to fertility.

This item really worked for me, don't know yet if it worked on getting me pregnant, only used it for one week after period, but it did actually increased my cervical fluid!!!! you have to drink lot of water, I had more fluid than ever!!

I was unsuccessful the 1st 3 cycles of getting preggo. I used evening primrose and got pregnant on my 4th cycle. I was 41 - my first pregnancy - and I now have a healthy, gorgeous 15 month old. Worked for me. :)

I didn't have a problem with fertile cervical mucus and experienced 3-5 days of fertile cervical mucus every cycle. However, after reading the book Making Babies I decided to try some of the authors suggestions specific to me which was to take Evening Primrose Oil. I've previously brought ovulation test strips and Preseed from Early-Pregnancy-Tests.com and was happy with them and website and service I received, so decided to add this product to my next purchase. I started taking the product on day 3 of my cycle and by day 5 I had egg-white cervical mucus which is much earlier than normal. I'm now on cycle day 15 and have had fertile cervical mucus every day since day 5, which is way more days of fertile cervical mucus than I normally have. This product has done what it says it does, at least for me. The only thing I don't particulary care for is the plasticy taste/smell I get when taking the pills, but as soon as I swallow it is gone. It only lasts for like 2-3 seconds and isn't somthing that would stop me from taking the pills.

I tried the Evening Primrose Oil for the first time last cycle and I had the most fertile egg white cervical fluid that I've seen in 11 months of trying! I got a positive ovulation test too- too bad the timing was off, and my husband was away on business. I'm taking it again this cycle with Clomid, as my doctor said that it will help counteract the drying effects of the drug. Excited to see what happens this cycle! Highly recommend!

I can actually see the difference

The purpose of this product is to change to texture, quantity and quality of CM. It did what it was supposed to do. I noticed the change during the second cycle. I could have noticed change in the first cycle but, I didn't know what to look for and what the difference could be. I gave this product a 4, because of it inhanced my CM. I held 1 star because I haven't conceived as of yet. Good luck to everyone.
