Detect your pregnancy early with sensitive pregnancy midstream tests

Unlike similarly styled tests you can find at the drugstore, these tests can be used just 6 to 8 days after conception (or for those who are fertility charting, 7-10 days after ovulation) – days before your first missed period!

Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a glycoprotein hormone secreted by the developing placenta shortly after fertilization. Our highly sensitive pregnancy test detects hCG soon after conception (typically 6-8 days after conception, or 7-10 days past ovulation).

To use the pregnancy midstream test, simply take the cap off the test stick and hold it in your urine stream. Then recap the stick and lay it on a flat horizontal surface. Your results will appear in the test window in just 5 minutes. One line in the result window means negative; two lines indicates a positive result for pregnancy. Great deal and the HPT test actually showed I was pregnant before the store bought test did. OPK work great, but you need to let them sit for 4min. so you can compare the lines. With the free shipping and they arrive so fast why would I drive to the store plus they cost way less!!

Its great knowing that you can either confirm that you are pregnant without having to wait the extra days...especially for someone like me who seems to know REALLY quickly after conception. Try the ovulation tests too - they helped us conceive in 4 months since we were able to pinpoint the time of ovulation. The great thing about these tests is that we were able to confirm the preganancy at 10 days past ovulation with no problems. Hands down the higher sensitivity of these tests are great compared to OTC ones purchased at local drugstores. This saved us so much money since it took several months for us to conceive.

I bought these test sticks when I was trying to get pregnant and they worked better then the drug store kind. Much cheaper and I was able to use them earlier than the drug store and brand name tests. I'm trying to get pregnant again and just ordered 10 more tests for $19.50 when I would get 2 tests for $15 at the drug store.

I've used both the strips and the midstream types- I thought midstream would be more convenient but I feel like the strips are more fool proof. I will not buy the midstream type again. It's much easier (and neater) to pee into a cup than onto a tiny piece of plastic- plus you are supposed to put your thumb over the results window to prevent invalid results- which is dangerously close to the absorbant tip! Both types of tests are fine but for what it's worth I think the strips are simpler and plus they are cheaper!

I was able to find out that I was pregnant with my daughter 7 days before my missed period. This pregnancy test actually came out positive 6 DAYS after i ovulated! I have a 32 day cycle, and that means it came out positive 8 days before my period was due to arrive! the result was very light at that point but began getting darker every day that i tested. This test is AMAZING!

I love that these are accurate so early, but I would love to see these tests without the plastic cover over the absorbent tip. To avoid peeing on the control strip you either have to cover it up with a finger (maybe your aim is better than mine but this always results in a mess for me), or to pee into a cup and dip (which defeats the purpose of the midstream. Had I realized that I couldn't use the "back" of the midstream like I do with the standard pharmacy brands, I would have gone with the strips. Still much cheaper than the pharmacy (and in the midst of infertility treatments, I go through them quickly), and accurate much earlier.

Like many women who are trying to get pregnant, I started testing at 7 dpo (because the site claims that this is the earliest you can start testing) and I kept getting negatives until the day I missed my period, when I finally got my faint positive. So my point is although the test description says you can start testing a week after conception, sometimes tests don't pick up hCG until the day of missed period. Just an advice to those who get discouraged so easily when they see a negative pregnancy test.Otherwise, the price of pregnancy tests sold here is great, as well as service and delivery timeframe. I will certainly continue being a customer.

I love the fact that you can test earlier than most store bought brands and that they are way cheeper...My only complaint is that out of the 7 test I bought (mid-stream), 3 were invalid results. I did also buy 2 dip sticks...They work like a charm. Go for the dip sticks...they are cheeper and much more user friendly.

Test Strip or Midstream Format?

It’s a question we hear from customers all the time: what’s the difference between pregnancy test strips and pregnancy midstream tests?  

First, let’s look at the similarities: both styles of test measure urine levels of the hormone HCG as an indicator of pregnancy. They’re equally sensitive to 20 miu/ml HCG, and they’re equally accurate at 99.9%.

The difference in the two formats lies in the way the tests are used. With a test strip, you dip the test in a collected sample of urine; with a midstream test, the test stick is held right in the urine stream.

In short, it really boils down to a matter of personal preference. Both test types have a dedicated following, though we do sell more of the test strip format than we do midstream tests.
