I tested as soon as I got them since I was one day past my period already, it was negative, I tested again for 3 more days in a row and then skipped a day. Later ont he day that I skipped the test my friend said that maybe i was just ovulation really late so i took the ovulation test and it came out positive so i looked up online that they can detect pregnancy so 6 days after my missed perod I woke up at 6 am and took a pregnancy test and nothing was coming up and then finally a very very faint line showed up. Later that day at about 5 pm the faint line showed again and then 7 days after my missed period it is still a faint line so it does not detect very early at all. and the Ovulation strips detect it better than the pregnacny strips. I still am going to keep testing and go to the dr as well but I am sure I am pregnant! I also had my Merina IUD out 6 months ago and was on the pill for 3 months. This was my 3 month TTC. My last 2 kids I got pregnant in one try, so not the case after having an iud and I was worred that it may have messed me up but I am pregnant so I hope it all goes good. I can get a positive test (albeit with a very light line) as early as two or three days before a missed period, even before the doctor's office gets a positive test for me. And the darkness of the line is a reliable indicator of how much my hcg is increasing (although I'm pretty sure the instructions say it's not supposed to be used for that purpose). These strips have been SO incredibly useful in figuring out my own fertility problems, since it turns out that I frequently get pregnant but only for a few days before losing it. Without access to cheap, sensitive pregnancy tests I never would have known I was pregnant in the first place, and thus would probably have assumed I wasn't able to get pregnant. I was confused because i have a 26 days cycle usually on the dot so I didn't think I could be ovulating that late. Do I did some research and learned that LH usually goes up when you are pregnant as well, so I took a pregnancy test that came with my Conception #2 pack and I got a faint positive!! :D So, I think I missed my LH surge because I did not test early or often enough. I am pretty sure I ovulated on Day 9, because I was having cramps, so we decided to try even though my doctor told me to start testing at Day 12. Had we waited till Day 12, we would have totally missed it. A couple days later I tested again and there was the faintest, lightest second line. Same thing the next day. My hopes were up but I certainly didn't feel like I had a clear "positive". So I bought an EPT digital test at the store and it said "PREGNANT"!!! (I am SO EXCITED!) I took a couple more of these "early pregnancy tests" after the EPT result (just to use them and to see what would happen) and at that point -- 4 days after my missed period --- the two lines showing a positive result were clear to see. So, long story short -- I don't regret buying these because they're so inexpensive and I'm glad I had them so I could take multiple tests without feeling guilty about the cost. But I still had to buy one expensive store brand for peace of mind. So I would recommend these only to those that like to test often. I used the dip sticks and used the same FMU...the 20miu's showed a stronger line than the 10. I would suggest waiting the full 5 minutes, if not more. Then, if you see even the slightest possibility of a line, go out and buy an early drugstore test. It took me 2 cycles to conceive and used only these tests on the first failed cycle, then on the second cycle, I got a "barely there" (am I going imagining this??) line at 11 DPO (after testing every day after 6 DPO) I went immediately to the drug store and purchased an expensive box of 3 early detection midstream tests. I got a CLEAR positive on the expensive tests. My experience summed up; It was actually accurate, but didn't seem as good as the expensive name brand. At a fraction of the cost, I didn't feel guilty testing basically every day after ovulation. We are trying to conceive again, and I will be using these again. I will likely do the same and purchase an expensive test after receiving an expected faint positive. I read all the reviews and finally ordered them. The day I received them (quick delivery) I tested. It was 5 days until I was due for my mences, much to my surprise, the test was positive. It was faint, but positive. I continued over the next week testing and the line just kept getting darker. I would definatley order from this site again if I were going to get pregnant again. However, I'm 39 and this will be my last. Good luck to all and order plenty, since they are very inexpensive. Everyone is talking about how excited they got with their BFP but I was so excited to have only spent $8.00 TOTAL for all the testing I did at the cost of other tests it would have been closer to $80.00. I tested 13 DPO and got a faint positive on the 20 sensitivity level strips. I confirmed the next day with First Response and got a true dark line. I'm not sure these would have worked for me if I began testing as early as 7 DPO because my line was so faint on 13 DPO, but for the price, its easy to start testing that soon. I would have but I did not have them in time. Overall, I'd recommend these to a friend. I have used many products. These tests are accurate but not any sooner than their OTC more expensive counterparts. Also, whenever I get a positive with these tests I always have to purchase a name brand test to confirm, as these tests have mixed reviews. I used a First Response test 10dpo and got a faint positive then used these strips the following day and got an even fainter positive than the First Response test. After using 15 strips in the past 3 days and still seeing faint positives, I am convinced. Everyday they came back negative. Today is the day before my period and I took a First Response & a Clear Blue Easy digital test, both came back POSITIVE. On the afternoon/early evening of 7dpo, I saw what I thought was an evap but it definitely had some pink to it. It was so, so faint I tried to convince myself it was nothing but it was too late. I was so curious! I used an FRER and got a super faint line! At 7dpo! At 10dpo, I used my last internet strip - the line got much darker since 7dpo but is still pretty faint in comparison to the FRER. I had a test strip left over and used it and got a very faint positive. We were so excited! The next evening we bought a FRER test and it was negative. So confused! But I figured since I didn't use first-morning urine with the FRER it might not have shown up.The next morning I used one of these test strips again and I got an even fainter line. Next morning - FRER - negative. Finally the 3rd time I used one of these strips I got a negative, and my period started a few days later. Turns out it was a chemical pregnancy. These test strips are great - cheap and more accurate than FRER, but sometimes that isn't the greatest thing. Still I would buy them and use them again. It’s a question we hear from customers all the time: what’s the difference between pregnancy test strips and pregnancy midstream tests? First, let’s look at the similarities: both styles of test measure urine levels of the hormone HCG as an indicator of pregnancy. They’re equally sensitive to 20 miu/ml HCG, and they’re equally accurate at 99.9%. The difference in the two formats lies in the way the tests are used. With a test strip, you dip the test in a collected sample of urine; with a midstream test, the test stick is held right in the urine stream.
